I was installing a FM modulator in my car and was barely understanding how the thing worked. The antenna jacks that came on the modulator didn't fit my radio so... read more I called Laketown in hopes to find some type of adapter for my install. I spoke to Issac Mueller and explained my issue as best I could with my limited knowledge on the device. He took my info, did some looking around and found a solution to my problem. When I got to the store he was helping another customer that had spent some serious money on his setup, he took care of him in a calm and professional manner as one would come to expect for a high ticket customer. After he finished with him he gave me his full attention and even helped me dry fit the adapter to make sure it was the part I needed. He showed the same level of professionalism to me, someone who spent 25$ at his store as someone who had spent 5000$. Needless to say I am very impressed with their service and expertise.

I recently purchased one of the first Kia EV6 cars and while the overall sound system was really solid from a clarity perspective, the factory installed subwoofer was weak to... read more say the least. Given this was a brand new vehicle model, and that it was an EV, I was worried it would not be safe or possible to improve the sound system. How wrong I was! Junior and his father Angel evaluated my situation and showed me how they could easily add a Kicker subwoofer that would dramatically improve the sound. The result was way beyond my expectations! I can't believe how amazing the sound is now! Junior and Angel are both incredible! They were thorough in their evaluation and explanation of how the install would work. About 5 years ago I came into this business without any knowledge about car sound systems. I just told them I wanted some loud bass and good sound system. They explained things to me, told me the speakers I already had were actually good just needed to add some other stuff to get it to where I wanted. So now looking to upgrade my sound system again I knew exactly where to go. Walked in, again not knowing much of anything or if it was even possible. Right away I was welcomed in by Angel who said they would be able to upgrade it no problem. Junior explained to me the different options I had and didn’t up-sell me for anything I didn’t need, which again I really appreciated. They also were able to squeeze me in the same day. Walked in and left about 1.5 hours later after picking out everything I wanted and having it all installed. These guys are great!
