Well guess what? I kept track of my hours I spent on my install on my Harley Davidson and after all was said and done, I actually used triple that quote counting the 20 times I had to drive to the hardware store and the necessary tools I needed to buy and the four weeks it took for me to work on the installation. It would have been easier for me to just pay them for the install. So next time you think that price is to much then I dare you to try and install it yourself. As for the tuning I let them take care of that and they did an amazing job! My system sounds competition worthy. If you want cheap then I urge you to go elsewhere and your system will also sound cheap. But if you want top of the line quality and clean professional style installation with top tier sound? Then go to Laketown Speed Shop. Also, don't expect to just go in there and get your system installed immediately. Quality takes time and these guys are always backed up with installs. Boats, buses, cars, minivans, motorcycles, side by sides... they do it all. Angel did my tune and Jr helped me with all my ordering and questions. Issac was able to get me booked within 2 weeks. Issac provided multiple price points within my budget to choose from. Angel and Ronnie installed all the aftermarket audio equipment, without flaw. The panels were all placed back in their factory locations. John always keeps the shop clean and friendly for the needs of the customer. I couldn’t not be happier with the quality they provide. This is the only business I would recommend for all aftermarket vehicle modifications. Including window tinting, paint protection film. They did a complete car audio replacement for my Tacoma, door wrapping, new speakers, Amps and subs. I look forward to the day I can afford a Boat. On both projects the staff were willing to find answers to questions and go above and beyond to get the job done better than I could have imagined. Even though the projects I brought were not in the mainstream of the services offered by Laketown, Junior looked for solutions, consulted with Isai and they proposed a solution that was better than I expected. Junior remembers my name when I call or come in. Isai tackled each of these challenges with a pleasant attitude and treated me like I was the only customer he had. Hernandez was extremely helpful to troubleshoot and help identify the source of the problem we were trying to solve. I recently purchased one of the first Kia EV6 cars and while the overall sound system was really solid from a clarity perspective, the factory installed subwoofer was weak to... read more say the least. Given this was a brand new vehicle model, and that it was an EV, I was worried it would not be safe or possible to improve the sound system. How wrong I was! Junior and his father Angel evaluated my situation and showed me how they could easily add a Kicker subwoofer that would dramatically improve the sound. The result was way beyond my expectations! I can't believe how amazing the sound is now! Junior and Angel are both incredible! They were thorough in their evaluation and explanation of how the install would work. About 5 years ago I came into this business without any knowledge about car sound systems. I just told them I wanted some loud bass and good sound system. They... read more could have told me all the most expensive things and I wouldn’t have known any better. However, they didn’t. They explained things to me, told me the speakers I already had were actually good just needed to add some other stuff to get it to where I wanted. So now looking to upgrade my sound system again I knew exactly where to go. Walked in, again not knowing much of anything or if it was even possible. Right away I was welcomed in by Angel who said they would be able to upgrade it no problem. Junior explained to me the different options I had and didn’t up-sell me for anything I didn’t need, which again I really appreciated. They also were able to squeeze me in the same day. Walked in and left about 1.5 hours later after picking out everything I wanted and having it all installed. These guys are great! If anyone asked me where to upgrade their car sound system I wouldn’t hesitate for a second to tell them to go visit Angel here and get the best job done for exactly what they need!
